Call Genie Announces Auditor Change

Call Genie Inc. (TSX: GNE), a leading provider of local search solutions, today announced that BDO Dunwoody LLP (BDO) have resigned as auditors, and the Board of Directors at the recommendation of the Audit Committee, has appointed Ernst & Young LLP (E&Y) as auditors for the period until the next annual shareholders’ meeting. The change in auditors aligns with the completion of the company’s transition of the finance department from Calgary to Toronto. 

There have been no reservations in the auditors’ report in respect of Call Genie’s annual financial statement in prior years, and no disagreements on accounting or reporting maters.  BDO has agreed to work with E&Y to ensure a smooth transition of the audit engagement.
