Call Genie Announces Release of EVD™ 4.5

Call Genie Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GNE) announced today that it has released the latest version of the Enhanced Voice Directory (EVD™) package, which provides voice-enabled access to Yellow Pages listings by category and location. The Yellow Pages Group's HelloYellow™ service is now using this advanced platform.

EVD™ 4.5 includes enhancements in administration and reporting protocols, but the main thrust has been to further increase usability and accuracy of the Voice User Interface.

Through analysis of tens of thousands of transcriptions of real-life calls, Call Genie has refined the EVD™ grammars to accurately interpret requests for over 1,500 categories of merchants. The taxonomy mapping logic in EVD™ 4.5 is extremely effective in detecting ambiguity and prompting for clarification. EVD™ 4.5 recognizes the many different ways in which people actually ask for information, and now satisfies requests for the "long tail" of less common categories - critically important in gaining consumer acceptance.

Part of the proceeds from the Company's recently completed $10,000,000 private placement will be used to continue to evolve the EVD™ technology platform, with additional upgrades planned for the next twelve months.
